Biography:
Dr. Nihal pushpakumara, currently working as a senior wildlife veterinarian, Department of wildlife, Sri Lanka. He obtained his first degree (B.VSc.) on veterinary science from University of Peradeniya and completed master’s degrees on applied epidemiology from University of Peradeniya and public management from SILDA Sri Lanka. He obtained his MPhil degree from University of Peradeniya collaboration with University of Nanaimo, Canada. He has published book chapters on one health and Rabies in Asia. Also he was a member of editorial committee of book on Rabies in Asia. He also published research articles on international journals as well as local journals and presented research findings in international forums. He has done research worked on rabies control and antibiotic resistance during recent past.
