Abstract:

Background: structure of educational strategy for improvement the performance family doctors and nurses in three areas the Boyeros municipality in Havana. Objective: to design an educational strategy for improvement the performance family doctors and nurses in three areas the Boyeros municipality in Havana. Methods: project of development, prospective. Used the research of theoretical and empirical levels by means the application of instruments and successful with the utilization the proof McNemar, measure viability the strategy and it is carry out consultant to specialist. Results: the validation of instruments applied the evaluation of doctors and nurses family, for improvement the performance in Wajay, Capdevila and Allende health areas of Boyeros municipality by means the consultation to specialist and carried out pre-experiment, verified the viability the educational strategy proposal, for the improvement the performance in the handling the rabies, to satisfy the necessity of population health, which gets rich the Sciences Medical Education, Nurses Sciences and Medical Sciences theoretical. Conclusions: the design an educational strategy in the dynamic of practices, permits identify the relation of subordination between the Education in the works and education, assistance, research integration stimulates the continuous education and needs in the satisfy of population health and responds Level Attention Medical First the performance in the handling the rabies, which gets rich the Sciences Medical Education, Nurses Sciences and Medical Sciences.

The scientific novelty is manifested in a system of stages and actions applicable specifically in the municipality of Boyeros, and generalized in any context; given the quality of the strategy to be contextualizable; for the improvement of the performance of doctors and nurses in the management of Rabies. It will allow a different approach, by recognizing the management of rabies as a health problem in the injured population.

The practical contribution lies in the educational strategy that leads to the preparation of family doctors and nurses in the management of Rabies and contributes to improving performance, by allowing better guidance and driving of injured, and therefore, the increase in prevention and control of the disease

Whether this research can be used by other researchers and professors this work can be generalized in any context; given the quality of the strategy to be contextualizable; for the improvement of the performance of doctors and nurses in the management of Rabies. It will allow a different approach, by recognizing the management of rabies as a health problem in the injured population

The contribution to the theory is expressed in the hierarchical relationships established between the "Demands of the Cuban Health System", "the National Program for the Prevention and Control of Rabies" and the "Family Physician and Nurse Program", by enabling dialectical relationships between the personal (doctor-nurse-patient) and social (family-community) components of the "health disease" process in the process of rabies management; and those established by the proposed educational strategy itself, of coordination with the performance of the family doctor and nurse in the face of the health satisfaction needs of the population in relation to the prevention and control of Rabies, and subordination with the principles of Education at work in the improvement of performance in the management of Rabies and thus contribute to the satisfaction of the health needs of the population.

Biography:

Dr. C Damasa Irene López Santa Cruz studied Bachelor at the Calixto García Iñiguez University, and graduated as Bachelor in Microbiology in 2008. She then joined the research group of Microbiology at Provincial Center for Hygiene Epidemiology and Microbiology (CPHEM). She received her Master in Virology at the Pedro Kouri Institute. Then, in 2019 she defends her thesis of Doctor of Medical Sciences in the Salvador Allende Faculty. She is currently the Head of the Diagnostic Media Department of Victoria de Girón Faculty of Medicine; Professor and Researcher. She has published 17 research articles in indexed journals and two books
